Commercial Manager

Description:
We are looking for a commercially focused Gold Commercial Manager to drive the performance and growth of our gold retail and marketplace platform. This role is responsible for hitting revenue targets, managing partner relationships, and balancing supply and demand to ensure the category thrives on our platform.

Responsibilities:

• Manage the commercial success of the gold ecommerce platform including sales volume, revenue, and profit margins.
• Create and carry out growth plans and business strategies.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with gold sellers, and retail partners.
• Ensure the right mix of products is available and in stock across the marketplace.
• Track market trends, competitor prices, and customer buying habits.
• Partner with the marketing team to launch promotions and sales campaigns.
• Work with product and operations teams to improve the shopping and checkout experience.
• Find new ways to grow revenue through new products or business partnerships.
• Monitor performance data to improve the overall profitability of the category.
• Oversee daily operations related to supply, payments, and customer satisfaction.

Requirements:

• 5 or more years of experience in commercial, category management, or marketplace roles.
• Proven experience meeting or exceeding sales and revenue targets.
• Strong background in managing supplier relationships and contract negotiations.
• Excellent ability to use data to make smart business decisions.
• Good understanding of how marketplace supply, demand, and pricing work.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work with different teams.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced and rapidly growing company.
