Peaklingo aims to offer a better experience to language learning. Instead of following a fixed curriculum, users engage with their own content. Peaklingo sets itself apart by targeting advanced learners who want to hone skills like listening comprehension, accent reduction, speaking, and writing.

We are looking for a full-time front-end developer who is ready to work within a fast-paced startup environment.

You are a good fit for this role if you:

- have a keen interest in language learning,
- are capable of implementing designs with HTML/CSS,
- have prior experience with React,
- have an attention to detail and test your changes rigorously,
- care about a good user experience,
- have experience with Git,
- understand written technical English,
- you have good communication skills and
- are dependable.

It would be desirable to have some knowledge of Python to be able to make minor changes to the back-end.

The project is still in its infancy and there will be plenty of room for contributing ideas.

How we will work together:
The position is entirely remote. We will have a regular check-in, otherwise, you can work independently. We will follow an agile methodology, iteratively implement new mockups, improve the existing interface, perform QA and quickly deploy them to production.
