The main responsibilities are:
- World Class Manufacturing – Intimately understands the WCM philosophy, which demands targeted investment in productivity improvement, whilst ruthlessly targeting waste and expense.  Inculcates this philosophy across all factory personnel.
- WCM Facilitation – Full Operating knowledge of WCM pillar structure and how pillars inter-link to deliver and sustain real business improvements.  WCM focus is the elimination of losses and waste.

The ManEx assistant works under the guidance of the ManEx Coordinator to: 
- Coach and develop teams to implement effectively the WCM tools linking these to the reduction of losses in the factory.
- Ensure that autonomous teams and teams are adhering to the overall WCM Pillar Plan.
- Conduct WCM assessments with semi-autonomous and autonomous teams to assist them driving down Losses and Waste.
- Lead and facilitate WCM workshops, which focus on priority losses (liaise closely with HR, the Skills Trainer and Manufacturing Manager to integrate and synergise all training and analytical interventions).
- Support the development of local WCM training material, but draw on global material wherever possible.
- Technical – MANEX assistant is required to maintain a Working Knowledge of the technical skills required to Operate, Maintain, Improve and Repair (OMIR) equipment.  This will assist their responsibilities as facilitators and coaches, and when setting WCM targets across the Sourcing Unit.
- Safety - Ensure that WCM activities, learning and training are embedded in a positive SHE culture; support teams in assessing risks for Autonomous Activities and Preventative Maintenance including Task Hazard Analysis.
- Environment – Implement and support WCM issues that reduce environmental impacts and costs associated with utilities, chemicals and product and operational wastes through maximizing eco-efficient operation.
- Innovation- Possesses a critical mind able to innovate efficient processes and embrace new technologies in a timely manner to drive Competitive Advantage.
- Quality - Ensure that all leaders and operators are able to analyze quality issues in all areas of their business; support the Quality function by implementing Quality Maintenance Tools including analysis of Quality losses.
- Continuous Improvement - Use performance measures to identify and priorities losses in production area.  Apply rigorous Cost Deployment and the Zero loss concept to eliminate losses.  Use routine improvements and problem analysis to trigger manufacturing innovation; this is an iterative process.  Deploy these analytical skills across the factory.
- Personal Leadership –The ManEX assistant must be able to lead engineering improvement using excellent engineering knowledge, clear communication and logical thinking.  
- Problem Solving - Has the ability to identify, prioritise and address problems using appropriate tools and techniques that eliminate recurrence; drives the use of Kaizens within the sourcing unit.

The key requirements are:
- 1 year of experience in supply chain preferrably in a FMCG company
- B.S degree in mechanical/electrical/chemical/industrial engineering
- Good command of English
