1) Oversee new site build and upgrades in allocated area 

·       To ensure that sites get built according to the laid down specifications and QA Standards. 

·       To ensure accurate site surveys and verification of all site plans and quotes. 

·       To ensure subcontractors perform according to laid down specifications.

·       To ensure that all special conditions and landowner requirement are adhered to MTNIrancell standards.

·       To ensure sites are accepted according to IRANCELL’s acceptance procedures

·       To ensure sites meet minimum requirements for Commercial Acceptance. 

·       To ensure that Financial Acceptance takes place with required deliverables.

·       To ensure generator Rollout for critical sites and Remote BSCs are in place.

2) Oversee BTS implementation/upgrades and commissioning 

·       To ensure that Radio Equipment is installed and commissioned as per IRANCELL’s standard as agreed upon. 

·       To ensure sites implemented into the network meets required criteria (Technical Acceptance) 

·       To ensure that final acceptance certificate is signed on successful commissioning of radio equipment. 

3) Transmission link acceptance 

·       To ensure Fixed Line links are accepted according to agreed upon performance standards and quality. 

·       To ensure correct termination of transmission at uplink node. 

4) Radio base station site activation 

·       To ensure proper co-ordination with all parties for successful integration of new site into the existing network. 

·       To ensure sites get handed over to Maintenance as per agreed upon guidelines. 

5) Special Radio Projects 

·       To ensure that all special Radio equipment gets installed, e.g. cell-enhancers and mobile BTS’s.

6) Fiber project

·       To supervise the fibre Projects and ensure that all fibre project activities are done according to agreed instructions and standards.

7) Control 

·       To ensure that information on the Regional site status sheet regarding new site build and upgrades is correct and up to date. 

·       To ensure that the database is kept up to date with daily feedback from all required parties. 

·       To ensure monthly reports of new site build and sectorisations are as per agreed upon format. 

·       To ensure that all tools, equipment and vehicle are kept in good working order.
To supervise contractors ensuring due dates and quality are strictly adhered to.
