Civil Engineer

Responsibilities:
This individual will be responsible and accountable for overall management of all civil aspects of project execution for Solar Power Plants including but not limited to:
·        Project construction planning & scheduling
·        Overall responsible for the construction of entire civil work as per SOP.
·        Manage construction of all types of civil foundations, buildings, piling, ramming, drainage, roads and other works
·        Preparation of BOQ for all civil-related drawings to analyse the volume of work and related costs.
·        Preparation of detailed scope of work as per the drawings for civil construction work. 
·        Handle responsibilities of providing technical guidance to site staff.
·        Review daily subcontractor construction reports and progress as per the scheduled timelines. 
·        Identify and solve problems to meet the project schedule and project budget.
·        Ensure work conforms to the Scope of work defined in the contract, project plan and specifications.
·        Create and manage job schedules with the Project Manager to include baseline development, cost loading, schedule status and schedule forecast. 
·        Supervision of civil work and issuing & closure of final punch points in accordance with commissioning and quality control plan. 
·        Plan manpower mobilization and demobilization activities for all the contractors.
·        Set the daily targets for the subcontractors as per project timelines.
·        Analyse the progress and prepare action plans in accordance with the project timelines.
·        Prepare the resources and machinery plans required for the civil construction work.
·        Prepare daily activities report
·    Develop the method statement for civil work and support the safety officer with risk assessment

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
·     Minimum Education: BS.C. in Civil engineering or construction preferred.  
·     Minimum of 5 years of experience with a broad and deep understanding of renewable energy development and construction
·     Good understanding and knowledge of Civil Construction work
·     Strong English communication skills (both verbal and written) and presentation skills
·     Strong analytical and critical thinking skills
·     Ability to perform under pressure and tight deadlines and to be effective in on-site work environments
·     Effective Project Management skills
