The System Administrator is responsible for performing hardware server setup. Install and configure the operating system, new releases, and upgrades. Monitor and maintain computer systems. Determine the proper configurations for systems. Test programs to ensure efficiency. Maintain the protection of data. Configure user directories. Execute backup processes for data systems. Identify necessary equipment purchases. Configure system resources. Provide a high level of support directly to the customer base to resolve their individual, group, department, or enterprise with solutions. Support basic functions of virtual infrastructure and blade server.
The task in detail:- Manage and update servers in the Microsoft environment such as Active Directory, Exchange, DNS, etc.
- Set up and troubleshoot Microsoft servers.
- Responding to users, following up, and resolving problems referred by the organization's units in the framework of job descriptions.
Requirements- Adequate experience in Microsoft services such as Active Directory, Exchange, File-Server, DNS, DHCP, Certificate Services, etc.
- Understanding the concepts, and protocols of the network and virtualization.
- Having professional ethics in dealing with users.
- It is an advantage to have Microsoft's certificate.
- It is an advantage to be familiar with the Vcenter virtualization environment.
