Electrical Engineer

•    Create and prepare drawings and designs for projects in accordance with specific requirements;
•    Review rough sketches, drawings, specifications and other engineering data received from external parties to ensure that they conform to design concepts;
•    Provide explanation on the drawings to the team including adjustment, variations and amendments as necessary;
•    Report on the progression of drawing completions and ensure technical work tasks are completed to agreed deadlines;
•    Ensuring all work is produced to company and client standards;
•    Develop detailed design drawings for different engineering disciplines (i.e. civil and structural drawings for highways/roads, bridges, and buildings);
•    Create 3D models and surfaces for use in electrical calculations;
•    Test and evaluate new Electrical Engineering Modelling Software;
•    Support drafters and engineers with various engineering tasks as required;
•    Diploma in engineering is desirable; 
•    5 years experience in a similar role and environment
•    Proficient in MS Office, particularly MS Excel and MS Word;
•    Proficient in AutoCAD or similar CAD software;
•    Previous experience in electrical drafting;
•    Proficient in Revit is desirable;
•    Demonstrated ability to work autonomously;
•    Highly developed interpersonal skills;
•    Strong organisational skills, including the ability to effectively prioritise and manage multiple tasks and deadlines whilst ensuring attention to detail;
•    Well-developed problem-solving, analytical and conceptual skills;
•    Proven capability to identify the need for improvement and implement change; and
•    Excellent communication including verbal, written and presentation skills in English.
