In 2004, the multinational Consumer Goods company – consistent with its endeavour to contribute to an inclusive, sustainable economic growth in the country – registered itself as a legal entity in the Islamic Republic of Iran under the name “Unilever Iran”. Given the potentials of the Iranian market, the company continued its journey in the Islamic Republic of Iran to successfully established its factory in the province of Qazvin in 2005, launching the production of Lux soap products.
Unilever Iran has so far created direct employment for over 1000 people.
Unilever Iran’s products span from homecare detergents such as Domestos and Omo, to beauty and personal care products such as Sunsilk and clear shampoos, Lux soap and handwash, and Dove soap, all of which are produced in line with the company’s ambition of making a sustainable living commonplace. Unilever Iran endeavors to stay committed to the environment, its people, and the society.
