Software QA Engineer

We are seeking a skilled Software QA Engineer. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in quality assurance methodologies, testing techniques, and test automation frameworks.

The Senior Software QA Engineer will play a critical role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our software products through comprehensive testing processes. Responsibilities: Develop and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts to thoroughly validate software functionality and performance. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand requirements, identify potential issues, and drive quality improvements throughout the software development lifecycle. Design, implement, and maintain automated test suites to streamline testing processes and increase test coverage. Analyze test results, identify defects, and work closely with developers to troubleshoot and resolve issues in a timely manner. Participate in code reviews, requirement reviews, and design discussions to provide valuable input from a quality perspective.

Stay up-to-date with industry best practices, emerging technologies, and trends in software quality assurance.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).

Proven experience in quality assurance and software testing.

Proficiency in creating and executing manual and automated test scripts using Playwright or similar tools. Familiarity with version control systems and continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) processes. Detail-oriented mindset with exceptional problem-solving and analytical skills. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively collaborate with technical and non-technical stakeholders. Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies is a plus.
