DevOps Engineer

As a part of our DevOps team, you will be responsible for creating a smooth deployment process and monitoring the overall health of Karnameh software solutions.


Responsibilities:

● Maintaining, designing and redesigning services so they run 24/7/365 within the required SLAs
● Creating and maintaining a platform for product teams to be able to deploy and monitor their services
● Creating, maintaining and improving CI/CD flow using the best tools on the market
● Keeping an eye on system health and logs
● Pro-actively discovering and preventing security breaches
● Participating in on-call rotation and resolving incidents in production systems


Requirements:

● Have 2+ years of experience in IT as a Dev-ops, or Site Reliability Engineer
● Understand modern Infrastructure stacks like Linux, Postgres, Docker, Kubernetes, and microservices
● Have experience in Monitoring and logging tools like Prometheus, Grafana, EFK
● Take almost any service and make it work in production while keeping it scalable and manageable using Gitlab CI/CD
● Can script and automate in more than one language


Bonus Points:

● Have a strong background in IP networking fundamentals (SDN and Container network knowledge is a plus)
● Can read and understand code written by others (Python, Django)
● Can write infrastructure and networking as a code (Terraform, Ansible)
