Senior DevOps Egineer

An algorithmic trading company with a focus on investment management software solutions, applicable to Tehran Stock Exchange, is searching for a qualified DevOps engineer to work at the office.

Job Summary

- Set up and manage infrastructure, CI/CD processes, and deployment scripts.
- Initiate, manage, and maintain Kubernetes clusters for our microservices.
- Promote best engineering practices among the development team including logging, monitoring, designing for reliability, scalability, and security, automated testing, risk, and incident management.
- Prepare and maintain documentation including architectural diagrams, data models, and navigation maps in your area of expertise.
- Implement and enhance network architecture, increasing hardware and software efficiency.
- Configure and implement appropriate methods and topologies for WAFs, firewalls, and security enhancements.
- Design and implement precise monitoring frameworks using ELK Stack, Prometheus, and Grafana.
- Set up and manage devices using WCCP to enhance network performance and security.

Requirements
- Basic experience in software development.
- Experience using Git.
- Experience in Linux and Bash scripting.
- Experience with CI/CD systems (preferably GitLab CI).
- Expertise in developing applications with technologies such as Kafka, MySQL, Redis, etc.
- Practical experience and a proper understanding of Kubernetes operations.
- Ability to utilize a wide variety of technologies and tools.
- Familiarity with database concepts: design, scalability, high availability, sharding, etc.
- Familiarity with monitoring and log management tools.
- Familiarity with automated software testing.
- Deep understanding of security concepts.
- Understanding and operational experience with network layers 3, 4, and 7.
- Familiarity with infrastructure and network architectures.
- Experience in infrastructure optimization and automation using Ansible.
- Profound skills in deploying and managing network security, including the use of firewalls like pfSense or opensense.
- Practical experience using WCCP to improve network performance and security.

Desirable but not essential:
- Experience with Apache Kafka.
- Back-end programming and automation experience.
- Experience working with ESXi.
- Experience obtaining security certifications such as AFTA and MAKNA.
- Experience with ModSecurity.
- Experience in infrastructure optimization and automation using Terraform.
- Ability to manage cloud infrastructures in environments like AWS, DigitalOcean, and OVHCloud.
- Experience working with Splunk.
