Facilities Project Electrical Engineer

Mission:
·       To ensure adherence to company standards in engineering processes for MV/LV electrical and Low LV systems, spanning project definition, tendering, design, and implementation across MTNIrancell's buildings and facilities.

·       To monitor the implementation of all MTNIrancell buildings, facilities, and installations (technical and non-technical) to ensure they are accomplished in compliance with related codes, standards, and regulations.


Roles & Responsibilities:
·       To develop, review, and approve electrical facility specifications, calculations, and designs, ensuring compliance with engineering specifications and related codes, standards, and regulations, using computer software applications

·       To conduct site surveys and technical meetings with the related stakeholders and customers to collect the project’s technical requirements, scope, and specifications 

·       To conduct feasibility studies, site surveys, and risk assessments to determine project viability and potential technical issues.

·       To draft preliminary calculations and drawings of electrical systems such as SLDs, routes and floor plans showing where electrical facilities will be placed in the project site

·       To perform calculations and analysis to determine the most effective design for electrical systems

·       To collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, such as consultants, contractors, suppliers, and clients, to ensure alignment and effective coordination

·       To coordinating with other team members and designers to ensure that designs meet all applicable electrical codes and regulations

·       To consult with suppliers, contractors, or other engineers and specialists involved in the project and design process to ensure that designs are feasible

·       To recommend materials and equipment based on cost, quality, and availability, while also preparing pricing estimates for electrical materials and services required for a specific project

·       To evaluate of the technical proposals, which are submitted by the bidders through the tenders and provide the technical evaluation based on the project’s scope and specifications in coordination with the project’s stakeholders

·       To supervise the installation of electrical systems and equipment, including lighting, power distribution, and backup generation systems, ensuring compliance with engineering specifications and related codes, standards, and regulations

·       To stay aligned with the project plans, budget, and timelines to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget

·       To develop and maintain technical documentation, including design specifications, drawings, and test procedures

·       To provide technical support and guidance to other personnel as needed, including troubleshooting and issue resolution

·       To review change order proposals and recommend necessary approvals 

·       To provide the archive on issues of the project, also document the knowledge obtained through implementation of each project and share within the team for further enhancements

·       To research and evaluate new technologies and methodologies, recommending improvements to existing systems and processes, following up on required development, and staying up-to-date with industry trends and best practices through active participation in professional development and continuing education 

·       To render Electrical engineering support in all CPG Facilities Projects
Job Requirements:
 
Education
·       GTS: Bachelor degree in Electrical Engineering 

·       Proposed by Div: Bachelor degree in Power Electric / Fluent in English 
 
Experience
·       Minimum of 3 years’ experience in an area of specialization; with experience in supervising others

·       Experience working in a medium organization
