Senior Data Analyst

 We are looking for a Data Analyst, to enable decision-makers in Mediana for data-driven decision making, and also to perform analytical tasks in areas where key decisions are being made. The role requires advanced analytical skills, hands-on approach on analytical tools, business sense and communication skills.

Job Description:

• Design and develop metrics and dashboards for internal stakeholders.
• Validate and audit data accuracy and the functionality of existing dashboards.
• Manage the collection and validation of user requirements for data analytics.
• Lead the identification and resolution of data quality issues.
• Coordinate with data engineers to ensure data infrastructure meets analytics needs.
• Oversee and mentor junior data analysts in their daily tasks and projects.
• Perform ad-hoc analysis and deliver insights on internal operations.
• Manage stakeholder communication for clarifying data requirements and reporting results.
• Review and refine analytical processes, tools, and methodologies to enhance productivity.
  
  Required Skills:
• Proven experience in data analysis in a tech-focused environment.
• Strong proficiency with SQL and experience in using SQL Server databases.
• Solid understanding of data warehousing and OLAP principles.
• Expertise in a major data visualization tool (Power BI is preferred)
• Capability to work with self-service data tools like Metabase
• Ability to interpret data and turn it into actionable insights.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

• Proficiency in handling and analyzing unstructured data
• Experience in a fast-paced, evolving business setting
• Familiarity with data science concepts, particularly in NLP and fraud detection algorithms
