Roles and Responsibilities: 

1. Provide guidance and support to Application Developers
2. Assist with schema design, code review, SQL query tuning
3. Install, tune, implement and upgrade DBMS installations
4. Write and deploy SQL patches
5. Proactively and regularly make recommendations for system improvements
6. Good understanding of data and schema standards and concepts
7. Good understand database design, implementation, troubeshooting and maintenance.
8. Easily design and implement a business process into functional and efficient code
9. Proven working experience as a Database Administrator
10. Define users and enable data distribution to the right user, in appropriate format and in a timely manner.
11. Determine, enforce and document database policies, procedures and standards.
12. Perform tests and evaluations regularly to ensure data security, privacy and integrity

Education:
Bachelor’s Degree in Technology Systems (Information Technology/ Computer Science) or a related discipline
