The Business Intelligence Senior Specialist | SX

The Business Intelligence Senior Specialist is responsible for helping businesses leverage data and identify opportunities for improvement, spot trends, as well as recognize potential issues, and offer solutions. However, the primary duty of the Business Intelligence Partner is to transform data into insight that can help to improve the value of the business

• Collaborating with team members to collect data and execute the company’s mission.
• Analyzing business requirements and processes and recommending them to the management and executives for implementation.
• Identifying the development needs for the purpose of streamlining and improving the operations of the organization for efficiency and profitability.
• Finding patterns or seeing areas in the data that signal a potential for improvement in business practices.
• Reviewing and validating data.
• Gathering end-user reporting and dashboard requirements.
• Creating dashboards and reports and supporting users with them.
• Familiar with Machine Learning concepts and tools
• Understanding of data warehousing and data modeling.
• Ability to use techniques such as regression, data manipulation, time series analysis, forecasting, statistical hypothesis testing, and econometric models.

Requirements:

• master’s degree in Technology Systems (Information Technology/ Computer Science/ Computer Engineering) or another related discipline
• 4+ years of relevant work experience in analytics or business intelligence
•  Strong analytical skills and a problem-solving attitude.
• Strong interpersonal communication, collaboration with the team, and presentation skills required.
• Knowledge of MS SQL and T-SQL Programming Skills.
• Ability to manage time and resources and juggle competing deadlines effectively.
• Knowledge of Python and ability to work with Python libraries (Pandas, NumPy)

• Knowledge of statistical analysis techniques and data mining algorithms.
• Working with multiple data sources, utilizing data visualization software (Power BI Desktop or any other visualization tools)
