Job Description

The Procurement Operations Manager will oversee the procurement operations team and ensure the efficient and effective procurement of Snapp Group requirement specially IT infrastructure, including servers, switches, and related equipment. The successful candidate will have hands-on expertise in IT procurement processes, lead a team of procurement specialists, and report directly to the Group Procurement VP.

 

Responsibilities:

  •        Supervise, mentor, and develop a team of procurement specialists.
  •        Contribute to fostering a collaborative and high-performance work environment.
  •        Conduct regular performance reviews and provide constructive feedback.
  •        Oversee the end-to-end procurement process for Snapp Group procurement requirements particularly IT infrastructure.
  •        Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and industry standards.
  •        Develop and implement data-driven approach to optimize cost, quality, and delivery times.
  •        Build and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers and vendors.
  •        Negotiate contracts, terms, and pricing with suppliers.
  •        Monitor supplier performance and address any issues or discrepancies.
  •        Identify opportunities for process improvements and cost savings.
  •        Implement best practices in procurement operations.
  •        Utilize Snapp Group electronic procurement platform and other IT tools to streamline operations.
  •        Assist in the preparation and management of the procurement budget.
  •        Provide regular reports on procurement activities, savings, and performance metrics.
  •        Analyze data to inform decision-making and strategic planning.
  •        Work closely with all stakeholder within Snapp Group and its subsidiaries, including tech, ICT, finance, legal, and other departments to align procurement activities with organizational goals.
  •        Participate in cross-functional projects and initiatives as required.
  •        Ensure procurement activities adhere to legal, regulatory, and ethical standards.
  •        Identify and mitigate risks associated with procurement activities. 

 

Qualifications:

  •        Master’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, IT, or a related field. Advanced degree or professional certification (e.g., CPSM, PMP) is a plus.
  •        Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in procurement, with at least 3 years in a supervisory or managerial role.
  •        Proven experience in procuring IT infrastructure (servers, switches, etc.).
  •        Strong leadership and team management abilities.
  •        Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
  •        Proficiency in office software and procurement systems.
  •        Analytical and strategic thinking capabilities.
  •        Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
  •        English fluency in business communications.
  •        High level of integrity and professionalism.
  •        Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving skills.
  •        Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
  •        Strong commitment to continuous improvement and learning.
