Infrastructure Engineer

What You’ll Do:

1. Utilize your understanding of computer science fundamentals to support infrastructure operations.

2. Oversee the management of servers, storage solutions, Backup solutions, hosts, connectivity, and virtualization environments within our datacenter.

3. Ensure data center resources are reliable, performant, and secure.

4. Operate and maintain ticketing systems such as Jira and ManageEngine ServiceDesk.

5. Address and resolve IT issues and service requests promptly, meeting SLAs.

6. Implement and uphold IT service management best practices and compliance standards.

7. Monitor infrastructure systems and resources

8. Manage resources using tools like VMware vRealize and NetBox.

9. Work with Infrastructure team members and cross-functional teams to integrate and operate IT systems seamlessly.

10. Keep detailed documentation of IT infrastructure, configurations, and processes.

11. Generate regular reports on infrastructure performance and incidents for management review.

What You’ll Need:

• Certifications:

• Network+

• LPIC2

• VCP

• VCAP

• Experience:

• Hands-on experience in managing datacenter environments.

• Proficient with ticketing systems like Jira and ManageEngine ServiceDesk.

• Hands-on experience in deploying and managing digital workplace services and systems

• Familiar with automation and scripting

• Familiar with DevOps CI/CD concepts.

• Skills:

• Strong foundation in computer science and network technologies.
