The FP&A Manager is responsible for providing strategic financial analysis and insights to support the group's corporate objectives. This role involves detailed analysis of financial data, monitoring key performance indicators, and preparing reports to aid in decision-making at the executive level.
Key Responsibilities:
Analysis of Historical Trends:
. Align with group corporate objectives to ensure all analyses are relevant and impactful.
. Identify and analyze deviations from the budget, including relevant RFCs, as part of the monthly business performance review report.
. Collect and assess both financial and non-financial data to track KPI trends against targets on a monthly basis.
. Dive deep into financial data to become a subject matter expert, offering additional insights and recommendations.
. Ensure timely submission of all required reports and meet reporting deadlines.
. Validate reports from group companies to ensure accuracy and consistency.
. Prepare ad-hoc business performance reports as needed.
Deviation Explanations and Decision Support:
. Investigate and identify reasons for budget deviations to provide insights to the CFO and board.
. Facilitate ongoing communication with CEOs or Business Owners to brainstorm and review business performance.
. Monitor cash flow and cash needs against the budget or RFCs, and follow up on related cash requests.
Qualifications and Skills:
. Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data.
. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage with senior executives and business owners.
. Ability to meet tight deadlines and manage multiple priorities.
. Experience with financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting.
. Proficiency in financial analysis tools and software.
