We are seeking a passionate and driven Junior Data Scientist to join our growing team. You will work closely with our data and business teams to transform data into actionable insights, helping us stay ahead in a competitive market.
 
Key Responsibilities:
●     Data Analysis: Collect, clean, and analyze large datasets from various sources (e.g., production, distribution, sales) to support decision-making.
●     Modeling and Predictions: Assist in developing machine learning models for demand forecasting, product quality predictions, and optimization of distribution routes.
●     Business Problem Solving: Work with cross-functional teams (e.g., sales, marketing, production) to identify business problems that can be addressed through data science.
●     Reporting: Create dashboards and reports to visualize data insights and present findings to stakeholders in a clear and actionable way.
●     Data Pipeline Support: Collaborate with data engineers to ensure seamless integration of data pipelines and model deployment into production environments.
●     Continuous Learning: Stay updated with the latest developments in data science and AI, applying new techniques and methodologies as appropriate.
●     Data Quality Assurance: Assist in maintaining data quality and integrity by implementing validation checks and ensuring data consistency.

Qualifications:
●     Education: Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related field.
●     Experience: 0-2 years of experience in a data science or analytical role, preferably within the FMCG or related sectors.
●     Technical Skills:

1. Proficiency in Python (or R) for data analysis and machine learning.
2. Experience with SQL for data querying.
3. Familiarity with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, or similar).
4. Basic understanding of machine learning algorithms (e.g., regression, classification, clustering).

●     Analytical Thinking: Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to analyze complex data sets and provide meaningful insights.
●     Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex data concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
●     Collaboration: Ability to work well in teams and contribute effectively to projects across various departments.

Preferred Skills:
●     Knowledge of FMCG or retail data (e.g., sales, customer behavior, supply chain data).
●     Exposure to AI techniques such as predictive modeling, natural language processing, or recommendation systems.
