The Supply Chain Excellence lead is responsible for identifying and implementing growth strategies within the company’s operations. This role involves analyzing data, optimizing processes, and working closely with various departments to ensure the company’s operations contribute to its overall growth targets.
Job Description:
1. Conduct research on best practices and industry trends for the business and recommend optimization changes to enhance operational efficiencies, quality, service, and profitability.
2. Develop and execute growth strategies focused on operational efficiency and scalability.
3. Analyze operational data to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement.
4. Optimize logistics and supply chain processes for better cost management and faster delivery times.
5. Oversee the adoption of new technologies and systems to improve operational performance.
6. Oversee the in-depth analysis of existing workflows and utilize flowcharts and process maps to define existing processes and identify areas needing improvement.
7. Conduct experiments and A/B tests to measure the impact of different growth initiatives and other experimental approaches to refine operational strategies.
8. Implement the tools required to collect and measure relevant data, identify key performance indicators (KPIs), and produce a data-driven analysis of critical functions.
9. Manage teams that study and develop optimization changes to the business processes and ensure that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets.
10. Collaborate with other departments and stakeholders to align the growth initiatives with the overall vision and mission of the company.
11. Knowledge of how to collect, analyze, and visualize route data to make data-driven decisions and improve operational efficiency.
12. Work with leadership on strategic planning to define growth goals and objectives for the company.
13. Create reports on key metrics to determine the company’s progress in meeting its goals and identify areas for improvement.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s/Master degree in Business, Operations Management, Supply chain/Logistics or a related field.
Proven experience in operations, with a focus on growth and process improvement.
Strong analytical skills and experience with data-driven decision-making.
Excellent leadership and team management abilities.
Familiarity with supply chain management and logistics optimization.
Proficient in using technology to streamline operations and collect relevant data.
Ability to work collaboratively across departments and communicate effectively.
Experience with project management and implementing large-scale operational changes.
