UI/UX Designer

Key Responsibilities:
1.  User Research:
○    Conduct in-depth user research to understand user needs, behaviours, and pain points.
○    Utilise this data to inform design decisions and enhance the user experience.
2.  Wireframing and Prototyping:
○    Develop detailed wireframes, prototypes, and user flows to clearly communicate design ideas and interactions.
3.  UI Design:
○    Design visually appealing and highly usable interfaces for web and mobile applications, ensuring adherence to brand guidelines.
4.  Usability Testing:
○    Perform usability testing to gather feedback and iterate on designs for improved user experience.
5.  Collaboration:
○    Work closely with product managers, developers, and other stakeholders to align design vision with business goals and technical constraints.
6.  Interaction Design:
○    Create engaging interactive elements and animations to enhance the overall user experience.
7.  Design Systems:
○    Develop and maintain design systems and style guides to ensure design consistency across all products and platforms.

 Qualifications:
●    Design Proficiency:
○    Proficient in design and prototyping tools like Sketch, Figma, Adobe XD, and InVision.
●    User-Centred Design:
○    Strong understanding of user-centred design principles and best practices.
●    Analytical Skills:
○    Ability to analyse user data and translate it into meaningful design improvements.
●    Responsive Design:
○    Experience in designing responsive and adaptive interfaces for various devices and screen sizes.
●    Attention to Detail:
○    A keen eye for detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality, polished designs.
●    Problem-Solving:
○    Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to think critically about user needs and design solutions.
●    Communication:
○    Excellent communication skills to articulate design ideas and rationale effectively to team members and stakeholders.

 Requirements:
●    2+ years of experience in UX research
●    Bachelor’s degree in Cognitive Sciences, Psychology, Sociology, or a related field.
●    Experience with both qualitative and quantitative research methods and knowledge of usability testing tools and techniques.
●    Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think strategically and provide actionable recommendations.
●    Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and executive stakeholders.
●    Experience managing and mentoring junior UX researchers.
●    Knowledge of Artificial Intelligence (AI) applications in user experience design is a plus.
●    Proficiency with UX research and design tools.
●    Passion for user-centred design and improving user experiences.

 Considerations for Selecting an Expert Front-End Developer:
●    Experience with JavaScript Frameworks: Proficiency in ReactJS, Next.js, and knowledge of modern front-end tools like Webpack and TypeScript.
●    Design and Development Collaboration: Ability to work seamlessly with UX/UI
designers to translate wireframes and prototypes into working code.
●    Agile and Scrum Methodologies: Familiarity with agile environments and the ability to adapt to fast-paced, task-driven work.
●    Testing and Quality Assurance: Experience with writing and executing tests, ensuring code is efficient and maintains high quality.
●    Communication and Teamwork: Strong communication skills to articulate technical details and design logic to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
