As a Supply Planning Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the demand forecasting, inventory management, and supply chain processes. You will play a pivotal role in ensuring that our company meets customer demands efficiently while minimizing excess inventory and maximizing warehouse efficiency. This role requires a strategic thinker with strong analytical skills, a deep understanding of the FMCG industry, and the ability to collaborate effectively across various departments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain accurate demand forecasts based on historical data, market trends, and customer insights.
- Collaborate with supply, marketing, and finance teams to gather relevant information for forecasting purposes.
- Optimize stock levels to meet customer demand while minimizing excess inventory and carrying costs.
- Implement inventory control measures and monitor inventory turnover rates to ensure efficient use of warehouse space.
- Collaborate with warehouse operations team to optimize layout, storage capacity, and workflow efficiency.
- Monitor key warehouse KPIs such as order fulfillment rates, cycle times, and inventory accuracy.
- Track and analyze KPIs related to demand forecasting, inventory management, and supply chain operations.
- Identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions as needed.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams including sales, marketing, finance, and operations (3PL) to align demand and supply plans with business objectives.
- Communicate effectively to ensure alignment and consensus on key planning decisions.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in demand planning, supply chain management, or related roles within the FMCG industry.
- Proficiency in demand forecasting techniques, inventory optimization strategies, and supply chain management principles.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data, analyze trends, and make data-driven decisions.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments and influence stakeholders at all levels.
- Advanced proficiency in Excel or other data analysis tools. Experience with ERP systems and demand planning software is a plus.
- Proven track record of driving process improvements, optimizing inventory levels, and achieving KPI targets in a fast-paced environment.
