We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Internal Audit Manager to join us. The candidate will be responsible for leading the internal audit function, ensuring effective internal control processes across the organization.
Key Responsibilities:
- Audit Strategy and Planning: Develop and implement a comprehensive internal audit strategy aligned with the organization’s objectives. Plan and execute risk-based audit programs to assess the effectiveness of internal controls and compliance with regulations.
- Audit Execution: Perform detailed audits of financial, operational, and IT processes. Evaluate the adequacy and effectiveness of internal controls, compliance with policies, and operational efficiency.
- Reporting: Prepare and present clear and concise audit reports to senior management and the audit committee. Highlight findings, recommendations, and remedial plans.
- Monitoring: follow up on the implementation of audit recommendations and management action plans.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including business, product, risk functions and senior management, external auditors, and regulatory bodies.
- Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvements and efficiency enhancements within the audit function and the organization as a whole.
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance. Master’s degree is a plus.
- Experience: Minimum of 7 years of experience in internal audit (preferably within the financial services sector), with at least 3 years in a managerial role.
- Certifications: Professional certifications such as CIA, CPA, or CISA are highly desirable.
- Technical Skills: Strong knowledge of f accounting principles, internal audit standards, Iranian financial regulations, Internal Control, IT Governance and Security, and compliance requirements.
- Analytical Skills: Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to assess complex situations and develop actionable recommendations.
- Communication Skills: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills. Ability to present findings and recommendations clearly and persuasively.
- Attention to Detail: Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality work.
