We are seeking a creative and results-driven Social Media Specialist to manage our social media platforms and drive engagement with our audience. You will be responsible for developing and implementing social media strategies, creating content, monitoring engagement, and growing our online presence. The ideal candidate is up to date with the latest digital technologies and social media trends and is able to express our company’s views creatively.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, implement, and manage social media strategies across various platforms (e.g., Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, TikTok).
- Create, curate, and schedule engaging and visually appealing content (images, videos, and copy) that aligns with the brand voice and marketing goals.
- Monitor, track, and report on social media metrics and performance (engagement, reach, impressions, etc.).
- Engage with followers, respond to comments and messages, and foster community growth.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to ensure brand consistency and alignment with marketing campaigns.
- Stay up to date with industry trends, platform updates, and competitor activities.
- Manage paid social media campaigns, including audience targeting, budgeting, and performance tracking.
- Work with influencers and partners to promote brand initiatives.
- Analyze data and adjust strategies to improve performance and achieve goals.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in journalism, public relations and communications and related field
- Proven experience as a Social Media Specialist or similar role.
- Strong knowledge of social media platforms and best practices.
- Proficiency with social media management tools (e.g., Hootsuite, Buffer).
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Creative thinking and the ability to generate fresh ideas for content.
- Experience with social media analytics and reporting tools.
- Understanding of SEO and web traffic metrics.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with paid social media advertising.
- Basic graphic design skills (e.g., Adobe Photoshop, Canva).
- Knowledge of influencer marketing.
