CS and RAN Network Security Engineer (Vendor)

Roles & Responsibilities:
To collaborate with the CS and IMS core team to design and implement the security part on the CS and IMS core network (including 2G, 3G, VoLTE, VoWiFi, Vo5G, …).
To collaborate with RAN and the Transmission team to ensure Security policies are applied.
To collaborate with EB and Marketing Solution Development teams to ensure security requirements fully applied to new services.
To supervise planning and installing Signaling and Voice Firewall (National and International SS firewall) in the CS/IMS core domain to apply new rules and monitor all malicious attacks outside and inside the network.
To coordinate Core elements of the CS, IMS, SVC, UDM, and Non3GPP network elements from the network security point of view.
To endeavor planning, installing, and maintenance of Telecom Pen Test Tool on CS and IMS elements, to simulate SS7 attack against CS/IMS core and RAN network to check for exploitable vulnerabilities.
To provide, and deliver new regulatory requirements and security services on CS and IMS core domain and RAN network.
To manage installed security capacity over CS/IMS core and interconnection interfaces.
To evaluate CS/IMS core network security KPIs and manage to achieve related CS/IMS core network security key performance indicators and quality that have a direct relation to customer satisfaction and qualitative perception of company network security.
To provide support to the team members in introducing new network security requirements and services in cooperation with regulatory and other departments.
To plan and integrate call control (call firewall) and apply new rules to detect and block call frauds.
To work on 5G technology and focus on Vo5G and SVC features and manage to integrate it with security equipment.
To supervise planning and installing Call, CAMEL, BICC/ISUP, SIP, and Diameter firewalls in CS/IMS.
To apply knowledge about SS7 attacks and provide reports from SS7 firewall.
To audit weekly call firewalls to block SIMBOX, WANGIRI, and IRSF attacks.

Job Requirements:
Bachelor’s Degree in Electronic Engineering, Technology Systems (Telecommunication Management / Information Technology) or related
Minimum of 3 years of experience in core domain with agood understanding of telecommunication, CS/IMS core, and IP
Experience working in a medium organization
