We are seeking a skilled Database Administrator to join our team. The DBA will be responsible for the performance, integrity, and security of our databases. This role includes planning, development, and troubleshooting to ensure the smooth operation of database systems.
Key Responsibilities:

• Database Management: Install, configure, and maintain database systems, ensuring high availability and performance.
• Security: Implement and manage security measures to protect data integrity and prevent unauthorized access.
• Backup and Recovery: Develop and implement backup and recovery plans to safeguard against data loss.
• Performance Monitoring: Monitor database performance, identify issues, and implement solutions to optimize performance.
• User Support: Provide support to users, including setting up accounts and resolving access issues.
• Data Integrity: Ensure data consistency and integrity across all database systems.
• Documentation: Maintain comprehensive documentation of database configurations, procedures, and policies.

Qualifications:

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Experience: Proven experience as a Database Administrator or in a similar role.
• Skills: Proficiency in database management systems (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL, SQL Server).
• Strong understanding of database security, backup, and recovery.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Familiarity with database design, documentation, and coding.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Experience with containerized database solutions.
• Certification in database management (e.g., Microsoft Certified Database Administrator, Oracle DBA).
