Job Overview:
We are looking for a highly motivated and data-driven Business Finance Analyst to join our dynamic growth and strategy team. This role is pivotal in analyzing key financial , operational , marketing and business metrics, providing actionable insights, and contributing to the company's growth initiatives. As a Business Finance Specialist, you will work closely with the finance, marketing, and product teams to optimize financial strategies and ensure the company scales efficiently. You will play a key role in understanding the financial drivers behind growth and developing strategies to support business expansion.
Key Responsibilities:
- Financial Analysis:
- Analyze financial data to identify trends related to revenue, costs, and profitability that affect the company's growth.
- Track and monitor key financial performance indicators (KPIs) such as cost per acquisition (CAC), PC1 , PC2 and all other p&l metrics.
- Provide financial insights and create reports on business growth performance and potential areas of improvement.
- Strategic Financial Support:
- Assist the finance and growth teams in identifying and evaluating opportunities for scaling the business through product improvements, marketing strategies, or operational efficiencies.
- Provide data-driven financial insights to support growth experiments, campaigns, and initiatives.
- Conduct financial analysis to support A/B testing and other growth-related experiments.
- Performance Reporting:
- Develop financial dashboards and reports to track key business and growth metrics, ensuring all stakeholders have clear visibility into performance.
- Regularly report on financial variances from growth targets, explaining under/over-performance and recommending actions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align financial metrics with the company's business objectives.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration:
- Work with the product, marketing, and finance teams to align growth strategies with financial goals.
- Help identify new financial opportunities or markets based on customer behavior and market trends, using financial data to guide decision-making.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business, Data Science, or a related field.
- Strong analytical skills with proficiency in tools such as Excel ; experience with financial modeling and SQL is a plus.
- Familiarity with key financial and growth metrics like CAC, LTV, churn, retention, and conversion rates.
- Ability to translate complex financial data into clear, actionable insights for both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain financial insights effectively.
- Experience with financial analysis tools or programming languages like Python or R is a plus.
