Job Description

We are looking for an Operations Excellence Specialist to join our team at Snapp Shop.
The Operational Excellence Specialist plays a pivotal role in ensuring the efficiency and effectiveness of all operations within the fulfillment center. This position is responsible for employing various methodologies, including system thinking, process orientation, kaizen, 6 Sigma, and numerical analysis, to optimize processes, enhance productivity, and minimize costs. The specialist collaborates closely with stakeholders across logistics, commercial, marketing, and product departments to drive continuous improvement initiatives and achieve operational excellence.

Job Description:

  • Analyze complex systems and processes within the fulfillment center to identify inefficiencies and areas for improvement.
  • Develop and implement strategies to streamline workflows and enhance operational effectiveness.
  • Lead kaizen events and continuous improvement projects aimed at eliminating waste, reducing cycle times, and improving overall operational performance.
  • Apply Six Sigma methodologies to identify root causes of defects and implement data-driven solutions for process enhancements.
  • Develop resource planning strategies to optimize staffing levels, equipment utilization, and warehouse layout for maximum efficiency.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to forecast demand, optimize inventory levels, and ensure adequate stock availability while minimizing carrying costs.
  • Collect, analyze, and interpret data from various sources to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities for operational improvement.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including logistics, commercial, marketing, and product departments, to align operational objectives and drive collective success.
  • Communicate findings, recommendations, and project updates to stakeholders at all levels of the organization effectively.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, Operations Management, or related field.
  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Office especially in MS Excel and MS Project.
  • Knowledge of lean methodologies, Six Sigma, kaizen, and other continuous improvement frameworks.
  • Proficiency in relevant software tools for data analysis, such as Python, Excel, Power BI, or Tableau, for analyzing and visualizing data to drive insights and decision-making.
  • Experience with BPMN 2 notation and process modeling tools for documenting and improving business processes.
  • Familiarity with inventory control principles, resource planning techniques, and supply chain management concepts.
  • Strong analytical skills with proficiency in numerical analysis, data interpretation, and problem-solving.
  • Strong self-responsibility, and self-management skills.
