As a DevOps Engineer, you will work closely with back-end developers on design and system-wide issues to ensure, enhance, and maintain the quality, security, and availability of our systems. You will build essential tools and services to empower our DevOps teams, manage infrastructure, and lead innovation in system improvements.
Task in Details:
- Provide technical solutions for complex operational and system issues.
- Investigate and resolve production phase issues swiftly and effectively.
- Maintain and optimize tools and infrastructure (including databases, Kubernetes, CI/CD pipelines, caching systems).
- Ensure system availability and security through proactive measures and guidelines.
- Innovate with new technologies and designs to continuously improve system performance and reliability.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve seamless integration and deployment processes.
Requirements:
- Proficiency in Docker and containerization technologies.
- Intermediate proficiency in Python; knowledge of Java or Go is a plus.
- Hands-on experience with Kubernetes and orchestration tools.
- Proficient in using version control systems, especially Git.
- Strong background in Linux operating systems.
- Solid understanding of computer networks.
- Knowledge of both relational and non-relational databases.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; capable of working effectively in a collaborative environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with VMware and virtualization technologies.
- Advanced networking knowledge and hands-on experience with network configuration and troubleshooting.
- Familiarity with infrastructure as code (IaC) tools (e.g., Terraform, Ansible).
- Experience in hybrid cloud environments and integrating on-premises systems with cloud services.
- Strong sysadmin background with experience managing large-scale infrastructure.
Performance Metrics:
- Maintain system uptime of 99.9% or higher.
- Ensure issues are resolved within defined SLA times.
- Continuously improve deployment times and reduce failure rates.
