We have an exciting opportunity for you to join us as a crucial part of our team as a IT Support Specialist.
Responsibilities:
- Provide quick and effective assistance with information technology systems.
- Guide customers remotely and in person through systems configuration, troubleshooting, and maintenance .
- Listen attentively to customers’ questions and concerns and offer optimal solutions.
- Prioritize employees satisfaction in all communications, directing unresolved issues to next-level personnel.
- Manage PC and laptop setup and deployment for new employees using standard hardware,images and software.
- Work with desktop support engineers to provide colleagues with superior service.
- Provide reports to the direct manager.
- Respond to users queries via E-mail,Tickets and phones.
- Ensure that the helpdesk operates in an effective manner so that SLA’s are met.
- Install configure and roll out systems,laptops,PC and printers .
Requirements:
- BSc/BA in IT, Computer Science or relevant field .
- At least 2 years proven experience as a help desk technician.
- Knowledge of Network+ is a must.
- Knowledge of WLAN is a plus.
- Familiarity with Windows&Mac operating system.
- Familiar with server virtualization tools such as VSphere – ESXi.
