Position Purpose:
The incumbent is responsible to assist the trade and consumer activation manager/supervisor for brand launches/merchandising/brand activation driven initiatives and new project implementation.
The role is responsible for POSM/TPOSM logistics, reporting on achievements, analyze data to identify opportunities and gaps and report to merchandising team, follow up on agreed processes within function, provide ad hoc basis reports/presentations.
She/He is responsible to collaborate/communicate closely with Warehouse/DSO and suppliers to deliver on assigned tasks.
Main Areas of Responsibility:
POSM and TPOSM Logestics:
- Follow up PO's delivery with suppliers (Delivery timeline, Quantity, etc.).
- Coordinate with warehouse team concerning POSM/TPOSM receiving’s, quality control and allocating space.
- Register POSM/TPOSM inbounds and outbounds and transfers in Oodo.
- Arrange TPSOM/ POSM delivery to territories based on brand launch strategy, annual merchandising strategy and ad hoc project.
- Follow warehouse processes to have a smooth logistics in place.
- Actively challenge logistics related processes status quo and initiate new ways of working to improve efficiency.
- Monitor all warehouses inventory to better allocate resources (incl. central warehouse, DSO & suppliers).
Reporting:
- Regular weekly, monthly, quarterly report regarding JTI merchandising tools in terms of quality and quantity vs. competitors. Close coordination with SI and IT team to improve merchandising report to reflect strategic position of JTI vs. competitors.
- Report on 3rd party team performance and their job car related information.
POSM Related Tasks:
- Report on merchandising KPI achevements bi-weekly (Incl. Optimization, Installation,…).
- Analyze merchandising data including POSM availability within different POS’s classes, RDB units, Competition POSM availability trends, Division/Territory potentials for POSM installation/optimization.
- Follow up on Registered broken POSMs in Panorama and repairing processes.
- Follow up Installation cost and ensure on time reconciliation.
- Follow up processes about POSM repairing cost and ensure right reconciliation.
- Develop/ update planograms and communicate with relevant stakeholders.
TPOSM Related Task:
- Support POS visibility supervisor to forecast quantity of each TPOSM type (based on brand launch strategy and DSO request).
- Develop TPOSM installation guideline.
- Other assigned task in this area.
Merchandising Training:
- Facilitate marchandising trainings for new joiners.
- Update training materials.
Candidate Profile:
Education: University degree or equivalent in business administration.
Work Experience: 3-5 years experience in Merchandising/brand filed, Adminstration or Warehousing.
Language Skills: Intermediate Level.
Functional Skills:
- Computer skills: MS. Office (Excel/presentation)
- Time management.
- Effective communication skills.
- Self-starter who is highly organized and detail-oriented and can handle multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
- Analytical skills / Presentation Skills.
