We seek a seasoned PMO Manager to lead our project management office and ensure the successful alignment of strategic initiatives. The ideal candidate will oversee project governance, provide accurate reporting, and ensure compliance with established methodologies and standards.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement standardized project management methodologies, templates, and best practices to ensure consistency and efficiency across all projects.
- Analyze project performance metrics to identify areas for improvement and implement strategies to enhance project delivery.
- Monitor project progress, identify potential risks, and take corrective action to ensure projects stay on track and within budget.
- Oversee the implementation and utilization of project management tools to streamline workflows and improve project visibility.
- Facilitate effective communication and collaboration between project teams, stakeholders, and functional departments to ensure alignment and avoid bottlenecks.
Qualifications:
- Proficiency in tools like Microsoft Project, Primavera P6, Jira, Trello, or Asana for tracking and managing project schedules
- Knowledge of reporting and dashboard tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or Excel for creating data-driven insights.
- Familiarity with risk management frameworks such as ISO 31000
- Familiarity with governance frameworks to ensure compliance with organizational policies, standards, and best practices
- Expertise in documentation management and maintaining audit trails for accountability
- Skills in budgeting and financial analysis to monitor project costs and forecast expenditures
- Proficiency in communication platforms such as Microsoft Teams, Slack, SharePoint, or similar tools for facilitating communication across teams
- Familiarity with quality standards like Six Sigma, Lean, or ISO 9001, ensuring that projects meet required quality benchmarks
- Understanding of OKRs (Objectives and Key Results) or balanced scorecards to ensure that projects align with the organization’s strategic objectives
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively interact with diverse stakeholders at all levels.
- Strong leadership abilities to motivate and inspire teams and influence decision-making at all levels of the organization.
- A keen analytical mind to identify trends, solve problems, and make data-driven decisions.
- A strategic mindset to align project initiatives with organizational goals and objectives.
- Proven negotiation and persuasion skills to resolve conflicts and build consensus among stakeholders.
- A commitment to ethical principles and strong integrity to maintain trust and credibility.
- Degree in Industrial Engineering, Information Technology, or Business Administration (MBA)
- Familiarity with digital banking concepts and related technologies
- Ability to analyze data and provide detailed analytical reports
- Strong understanding of methodologies such as PMBOK, PRINCE2, Agile, Scrum, or Waterfall, and their application in different project environments
- Strong communication skills for interaction with senior management and working teams
- At least 3 years of experience as a PMO Manager, preferably in fintech or banking sectors
- Proven experience in working with multi-departmental teams on complex projects
