Job Description

The Compensation & Benefits Specialist at SnappFood plays a critical role in designing, implementing, and managing compensation and benefits programs tailored to our dynamic, fast-paced environment. This role requires leveraging data-driven insights, aligning with industry best practices, and understanding SnappFood’s employee needs to craft competitive and engaging total rewards packages that reflect our commitment to attracting and retaining top talent.

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Compensation Strategy Development
    Analyze market trends, benchmark data, and company objectives to design competitive and equitable compensation structures.Assist in the development, implementation, and periodic review of salary structures, incentive programs, and benefits policies.
    Provide insights and recommendations for salary adjustments, promotions, and retention strategies.

  • Data Analysis and Insights
    Utilize advanced data analytics to evaluate compensation data, identify trends, and generate actionable insights for decision-making.
    Develop dashboards and reporting tools for compensation and benefits metrics to share with leadership.
    Leverage tools like Excel, Google Sheets, and Business Intelligence (BI) platforms to manage and analyze large datasets effectively.

  • Benefits Program Management
    Administer and evaluate benefits programs (e.g., health insurance, retirement plans, wellness programs) to ensure they align with employee needs and company objectives.
    Partner with external vendors to negotiate and manage employee benefits and perks packages.
    Regularly assess the effectiveness of benefits programs and propose enhancements.

  • Compliance and Documentation
    Ensure all compensation and benefits programs comply with local labor laws and organizational policies.
    Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all employee compensation and benefits programs.

  • Cross-functional Collaboration
    Work closely with HR, Finance, and department heads to align compensation and benefits strategies with business goals.
    Support Talent Acquisition teams with data and insights to design competitive job offers.

  • Employee Engagement and Communication
    Develop communication plans to educate employees about compensation and benefits policies.
    Act as a trusted advisor to employees, answering queries related to pay and benefits.

  • Innovation and Problem-Solving
    Continuously seek opportunities to improve processes and propose innovative approaches to compensation and benefits strategies.
    Address and resolve complex issues related to employee compensation and benefits promptly and effectively

Job Specification:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field. Advanced degree (MBA) preferred.

  • Proficiency in English, particularly for conducting research, analyzing resources, and creating comprehensive English documentation.

  • Familiarity with HR processes and practices, including employee relations, recruitment, and compliance.

  • Proven track record of working with advanced data analytics and compensation benchmarking tools.

  • Technical Competencies:

    Data Analysis and BI Skills

    • Advanced proficiency in Excel (e.g., Pivot Tables, Power Query, advanced formulas) and Google Sheets.

    • Experience with Business Intelligence (BI) tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, Looker) is a strong advantage.

    Compensation Benchmarking Expertise

    • Skilled in analyzing market data and conducting job evaluations using global frameworks such as Mercer or Hay Group.

    Analytical Thinking and Reporting

    • Ability to design, interpret, and present complex data sets in a user-friendly format for leadership.

    Project Management

    • Organized and detail-oriented, capable of managing multiple projects with tight deadlines.

    Deep understanding of compensation and benefits principles and practices.

    Familiarity with various compensation and benefits systems (e.g., payroll, benefits administration).

    Advanced English language skills to efficiently study and research global best practices, interpret professional literature, and draft detailed English documents and reports.
