The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting, with excellent analytical, organizational, and leadership skills, as well as proficiency in accounting software and advanced Excel.
Key Responsibilities:
•    Preparing, reviewing, and analyzing financial statements.
•    Managing month-end and year-end closing processes.
•    Ensuring compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements.
•    Reconciling accounts and resolving discrepancies.
•    Coordinating audits and liaising with auditors.
•    Supervising and mentoring junior accounting staff.
•    Assisting in budget preparation and financial forecasting.
•    Assist in tax filings and other statutory obligations.
•    Contributing to the development of internal accounting processes and systems.
Key Requirements:
•    Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
•    Proficiency in accounting software and advanced Excel skills.
•    Attention to detail and excellent organizational abilities.
•    Leadership and mentorship capabilities.
•    A degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (having professional certificates like CPA, ACCA, CMA  or studying towards them are an advantage).
