To implement and support traditional voice technologies and Voice over IP (VoIP).
To collaborate with international carriers and providers to optimize voice routes.
To monitor and optimize international and roaming voice KPI and quality
Roles & Responsibilities:
To monitor voice network performance, troubleshoot issues, and ensure high quality and availability.
To monitor and conduct capacity planning and implement network upgrades as needed.
To maintain documentation for voice configurations and network topology.
To ensure compliance with industry standards and security protocols.
To provide technical support and training to team members and end-users.
To stay informed about emerging voice technologies and industry best practices.
To maintain and enforce SLA of quality with service providers to ensure the service is maintained as per contract details
To reconcile Voice traffic such as traffic analysis and reroute planning based on actual network traffic and vendor’s reports
To handle customer complaints regarding international and roaming calls
To oversee the performance of voice systems and conduct traffic analysis and capacity planning so that the quality-of-serice functions properly.
To work with telephony protocols, such as SIP, TCP/IP, H323, QoS, etc. to evaluate existing capabilities and help in planning guidelines to tap emerging trends in cloud, VoIP, mobility solutions and managed services.
Education:
BSc in Telecommunication, Electronic, Computer Science Engineering or a related field
Experience:
Minimum of 3 years’ experience in an area of specialisation; with experience in telecommunication environment roaming experienced
Experience working in a medium organization
Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
