About the Role:

We are seeking a General Accounting Team Lead to oversee and lead a team of accountants in a professional and efficient manner. In this role, you will work closely with senior managers, and various departments to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting. You will also be responsible for developing strategies to enhance team productivity, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, and coaching team members for their professional development within the organization.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee routine accounting tasks, review submitted vouchers, and address any discrepancies in accounting.
• Provide guidance to team members on managing their responsibilities effectively.
• Review payment requests and maintain oversight of the balance sheet.
• Liaise with third parties for balance reconciliation and confirmation.
• Manage and reconcile accounts payable and receivable.
• Ensure that financial documents comply with laws and regulations.
• Assist the financial manager in preparing financial statements.
• Communicate with auditors and tax officers.
• Prepare and manage tax and seasonal reports.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting.
• At least 7 years of relevant experience.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
• Strong communication skills.
• Familiarity with tax regulations and social security (SSO)
