Job Description


We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Business Data Analyst to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data analysis, data modeling, and database management, along with excellent communication skills for effective stakeholder management. This role requires advanced knowledge of SQL and Python, as well as medium proficiency in machine learning techniques and tools. Responsibilities will include a full range of activities, from leading small to midsize projects to assisting a leader on larger, more complex projects related to operational business functions that affect team members and providers at the market level.
 
Responsibilities

• Data Validation: Reviewing and verifying data accuracy and maintaining the highest quality of reports and insights.

•  Analysis and Reporting: Managing data analysis activities and reports. Developing dashboards, and providing business insights.

•  Collaboration: Working effectively with other teams to give them insights into the epics and projects

•  Project Coordinating: Managing an epic/a project including making it well-defined, scheduling, prioritizing, communicating with its stakeholders, and delivering on time.

•  Advanced Analytics: Using advanced statistical and ML methods/tools to analyze data and generate insights. Identifying trends and patterns to help the team make decisions.

•  Big Data and Optimization: Working with big data and identifying optimization opportunities

•  Data Aggregation and Cleaning: Aggregating, cleaning, and studying data for an epic/project and generating mid-level data for team requirements.

•  Code Development: Coding ability to work with big data. Become familiar with SQL, Python…, and related tools and libraries.

Requirements

•  Bachelor's degree or higher in Industrial Engineering, Business Management, Statistics, or similar branches. 

• Average English knowledge (Understanding, Writing).

• At least 3 years of experience in similar positions and industries.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Proficiency in Excel.

• Capable of making team decisions data-driven and converting the team's/product's path into data-related problems.

• Can utilize machine learning tools to solve team problems when necessary.

•  Familiar with various statistical tools and analyses, and can provide appropriate statistical analyses based on the issue.

•  Able to identify, design, and produce the intermediate data needed by the team.

• Understands the competitive landscape and industry trends related to the team/product and can help clarify these trends by deriving suitable data insights.

•  Has a good product vision to understand what metrics and KPIs the product needs.

• Demonstrates strong inter-team collaboration within the company, persuades others through reasoning, and influences the motivation and behavior of leaders and external perspectives to achieve key goals and results.

•  Formulates complex and new issues independently within the clear and transparent guidance received from the team leader (at the epic level)
• Solid communication skills.

• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

 

Desired Skills 

•  Proficiency in data analysis and visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI);

•  Strong experience with data modeling and database management.

•   Advanced knowledge of SQL and Python for data manipulation and analysis.

•  Experience in translating business requirements into technical specifications.

• Excellent communication skills for stakeholder management and collaboration.

• Medium proficiency in machine learning techniques and tools.
