opportunity for you to join us as a crucial part of our team as a Senior People and Culture Partner.
Responsibilities
Employee Experiences:
- Develop and execute engagement strategies and initiatives to improve employee satisfaction and retention.
- Organize employee surveys, focus groups, and feedback sessions to identify pain points and opportunities for improvement.
- Plan and manage employee recognition programs and events.
- Ensure alignment of employee experience initiatives with the organization's brand and culture
- Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to implement HR initiatives and improve employee experience
- Stay abreast of industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in employee experience and engagement
Data-Driven Insights and Continuous Improvement
- Use analytics and employee engagement metrics to measure the effectiveness of programs and identify opportunities for improvement.
- Prepare detailed reports and presentations for leadership, highlighting trends, key insights, and actionable recommendations.
- Conduct employee surveys and other feedback mechanisms to gather input and track the effectiveness of HR programs and initiatives
Internal Communication
- Design and manage regular internal communications, including newsletters, company-wide announcements, and digital content to inform, motivate and align employees with Okala’s strategic goals.
- Use messaging tools to facilitate transparent communication between employees, leaders, and the organization.
Employer Branding and Events
- Collaborate on internal and external events to promote employer branding and employee engagement.
- Represent the organization in external forums, job fairs, and networking events to build a strong employer brand.
Policy Development and Support
- Assist in crafting and updating HR policies to support employee experience and engagement.
- Act as a trusted resource for employees seeking guidance on policies and workplace concerns.
Qualifications
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to build relationships across diverse teams and roles.
- Problem-solving and conflict-resolution abilities.
- Proficiency in data collection, analysis, and reporting.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Good understanding of social media platforms, tools, and trends.
- Strong copywriting skills with the ability to create engaging and effective content on various topics.
- Experience with graphic design tools, such as Adobe Photoshop or Canva, is a plus.
