We are a forward-thinking organization working on projects focus, e.g., scalable platforms, cloud-native solutions, etc.  As part of our growth, we are looking for an experienced Senior DevOps Engineer to lead our DevOps initiatives, streamline our infrastructure, and optimize our development processes for scalability, security, and reliability.

Responsibilities:

Infrastructure Management

• Design, implement, and maintain highly available, scalable, and secure infrastructure on cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP, etc.).
• Automate deployment pipelines using CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, CircleCI, etc.).
• Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize system performance, reliability, and security.

Collaboration and Strategy

• Work closely with development and QA teams to integrate DevOps practices into the software development lifecycle.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior DevOps engineers and developers.
• Define and implement DevOps strategies, including Infrastructure as Code (IaC), container orchestration, and automated monitoring solutions.

Automation and Tools

• Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code using tools like Terraform, Ansible, or CloudFormation and etc.
• Manage and optimize containerized environments using Docker and Kubernetes.
• Set up and manage monitoring and logging tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack, or Datadog.

Security and Compliance

• Implement and enforce best practices for DevOps security, including secrets management and secure pipelines.
• Collaborate with security teams to ensure compliance with data protection standards and policies.

Requirements:

Technical Skills

• Cloud Expertise: Deep experience with AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
• Containerization: Proficiency with Docker and orchestration tools like Kubernetes or ECS.
• CI/CD Pipelines: Strong experience with Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, or similar tools.
• Infrastructure as Code: Expertise in Terraform, Ansible, or CloudFormation.
• Monitoring and Logging: Familiarity with tools like Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack, or Datadog.
• Programming: Knowledge of scripting and programming languages (Python, Bash, Go, etc.).
• Version Control: Experience with Git and GitOps workflows.

Soft Skills

• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate across teams.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, agile environment.
• Leadership and mentorship experience.

Experience

• At least 5+ years of hands-on experience in DevOps or a similar role.
• Proven experience managing cloud-based infrastructure and large-scale deployments.
• Familiarity with security best practices and compliance standards.

Nice-to-Have

• Experience with hybrid or multi-cloud setups.
• Familiarity with service meshes (e.g., Istio, Linkerd).
• Experience with serverless architectures and event-driven systems.
• Knowledge of database management and optimization (PostgreSQL, Elasticsearch, etc.).
