Job Description

We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Business Development Manager to identify growth opportunities, build strategic partnerships, and drive revenue generation. The ideal candidate will be responsible for expanding our market presence, fostering relationships with clients—including government entities—and contributing to the overall success of the organization.

  • Identify and evaluate new business opportunities, markets, and revenue streams.
  • Conduct market research to understand industry trends, customer needs, and competitive positioning.
  • Develop and implement strategic business development plans to achieve growth targets.
  • Establish and maintain relationships with government agencies and officials to explore and secure business opportunities.
    Monitor government policies, regulations, and tenders to identify relevant opportunities for the organization.
    Coordinate with internal teams to prepare proposals, respond to RFPs (Request for Proposals), and meet government compliance standards.
  • Generate leads, establish new business relationships, and nurture existing client accounts.
  • Conduct presentations, meetings, and negotiations to close deals.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for key clients, ensuring their satisfaction and long-term loyalty.
  • Build and maintain strong partnerships with vendors, collaborators, and stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align business objectives and drive initiatives.
  • Meet and exceed sales targets and KPIs set by the organization.
  • Develop pricing strategies and proposals tailored to client needs.
  • Monitor sales pipelines, track progress, and provide regular updates to senior management.
  • Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and conferences.
  • Actively promote the company’s products and services in the market.
  • Analyze performance metrics and client feedback to optimize business development strategies.
  • Identify process inefficiencies and recommend actionable improvements.

Requirments:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
  • MBA or equivalent postgraduate qualification is a plus.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in business development, sales, or a related role.
  • Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving business growth.
  • Strong understanding of business development, sales processes, and market dynamics.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to build and maintain long-term relationships with clients and partners.
  • Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving skills.
