Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and creative Social Media Supervisor to lead our social media strategy and oversee a team of outsourced administrators. In this role, you will be responsible for designing and managing content calendars, creating frameworks for social media campaigns, and ensuring all content is aligned with current trends and tailored to our accommodation persona. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of social media dynamics, content creation, and audience engagement, with the ability to drive brand awareness and community growth.
Key Responsibilities:
• Team Management & Outsourced Admin Supervision:
o Oversee and manage a team of outsourced social media administrators to
ensure high-quality execution of social media tasks.
o Provide guidance, feedback, and training to outsourced team members to
maintain a consistent brand voice and content quality.
o Monitor and evaluate the performance of outsourced teams, ensuring
alignment with company goals and timelines.
• Content Strategy & Calendar Creation:
o Develop and implement a comprehensive content strategy tailored to the
company’s brand and accommodation persona.
o Design and manage content calendars for all social media platforms, ensuring
timely and relevant content creation.
o Collaborate with internal teams (e.g., marketing, commercial, customer
support and sales) to align content with business goals and promotional
activities.
• Framework Creation & Content Execution:
o Create frameworks and guidelines for social media campaigns to maintain
consistency and effectiveness across all channels.
o Monitor trends, industry changes, and competitor strategies to ensure content
stays fresh, engaging, and relevant.
o Work with content creators to produce high-quality posts, including graphics,
videos, and written content, that resonate with the target audience.
• Trend Analysis & Adaptation:
o Stay up-to-date with social media trends, emerging platforms, and best
practices to inform content strategy and optimize engagement.
o Analyze social media metrics and performance to identify trends, gaps, and
opportunities for improving content engagement and reach.
o Implement data-driven insights to adapt content strategies and improve
performance metrics such as engagement rates and follower growth.
Requirements:
• Proven experience as a Social Media Supervisor, Content Strategist, or similar role,
with at least 3 years of experience in social media content creation and management.
• Strong knowledge of social media platforms (e.g., Instagram, Facebook, Twitter,
LinkedIn, TikTok, etc.) and best practices for each.
• Experience managing outsourced teams and ensuring quality content execution
across various platforms.
• A creative mindset with the ability to develop engaging, relevant content that appeals
to accommodation personas and the target audience.
• Deep understanding of social media trends, audience behavior, and platform
algorithms.
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
• Experience with social media analytics tools to monitor and measure content
performance.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to create compelling
content and engage with followers effectively
