Responsibilities:
· Overseeing and managing the portfolio of projects within the company
· Ensuring alignment with strategic business goals
· Develop, implement, and oversee the Project Management Office (PMO) framework, processes, and standards.
· Lead the governance of project management methodologies, tools, and reporting across all projects.
· Monitor and report on the progress of ongoing projects, ensuring they are on schedule, within budget, and aligned with business objectives.
· Work closely with departments managers to ensure proper planning, resource management, and risk mitigation.
· Facilitate regular project meetings to review status, identify roadblocks, and ensure collaboration across departments (engineering, operations, supply chain, etc.).
· Develop and manage project tracking dashboards, providing visibility into performance for key stakeholders.
· Implement risk management strategies and escalate issues to senior management as needed.
· Ensure compliance with industry regulations and quality standards, especially those related to production processes in the paper and packaging sector.
· Train, mentor, and support the development of project managers and team members.
· work closely with senior leadership, project managers, and cross-functional teams to establish best practices, maintain project timelines, monitor progress, and ensure optimal resource allocation within the operations
Requirements:
· Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
· At least 5 years of experience in project management, with a minimum of 2 years in a PMO leadership role within the manufacturing or paper/packaging industry.
· Ability to manage projects related to product innovation, supply chain optimization, and operational efficiency.
· Strong knowledge of project management methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, or Hybrid).
· Proven experience managing multiple projects with a high level of complexity and cross-functional collaboration.
· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and engage stakeholders at all levels.
· Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a focus on continuous improvement.
· Familiarity with project management software and tools (e.g., MS Project, Primavera, or similar tools).
· PMP or similar project management certification is a plus.
· Preferred Qualifications:
· Experience working in a global or multi-site environment within the paper or packaging industry.
· Knowledge of Lean Six Sigma or other process improvement methodologies.
