NOC Engineer

Key Responsibilities:

Monitoring and Incident Management:

• Continuously monitor the organization’s network, servers, and systems to identify potential issues or anomalies.
• Detect, troubleshoot, and resolve network incidents in real-time to minimize downtime.
• Escalate unresolved issues to higher-level support or external vendors when necessary.

Performance Optimization:

• Analyze network performance metrics to ensure optimal operation and implement improvements where needed.
• Conduct routine checks and maintenance to prevent potential disruptions.

Documentation and Reporting:

• Maintain accurate records of incidents, resolutions, and network performance trends.
• Prepare regular reports on network health, incidents, and key metrics for management review.

Collaboration and Communication:

• Work closely with cross-functional teams, including IT support, engineering, and external vendors, to resolve complex issues.
• Provide updates and feedback to relevant stakeholders during and after incident resolution.

Compliance and Security:

• Ensure adherence to security protocols and organizational policies.
• Proactively identify and mitigate security risks related to the network and systems.

On-Call Support:

• Participate in a rotating on-call schedule to address urgent incidents outside regular working hours.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Telecommunications, or a related field.
• Experience: 
• 2-4 years of experience in NOC, IT operations, or application monitoring, preferably in a fintech or banking environment.
• Experience in monitoring both IT infrastructure (e.g., networks, servers) and business processes (e.g., transactions, API performance, service availability).
• Hands-on experience with monitoring tools such as Zabbix, Grafana, Splunk, or similar platforms for infrastructure and application monitoring.
• Experience with payment systems, transaction flows, and real-time monitoring of financial services is a strong advantage.
