USO Operation Engineer (Vendor)

Roles & Responsibilities:
•    To support the USO Operation Manager in the initial set up of the USO Network in collaboration with CPG and vendors.
•    To provide proactive USO network monitoring, also follow established procedures when responding to network alarms and events.
•    To ensure USO equipment installations are within the company-agreed standards and the radio environment is kept clean and tidy.
•    To monitor the GOS (Grade of Service) & QOS (Quality of Service) to meet the Network objectives
•    To monitor BTS for both PAC and non-PAC (partial acceptance certificate) USO sites and ensure that the vendors resolve issues.
•    To establish changes to SLAs to improve the performance of the company network.
•    To ensure that site relocations and modernizations are performed as required by the planning department.
•    To monitor the Managed Services (MS) vendor to ensure that they are performing as per the agreed SLA.
•    To set weekly meetings with the MS vendor to check and control the number of Open, Closed, and Running USO TTs (trouble tickets) in Week.
•    To provide daily/weekly/monthly/Annual and ad hoc reports to senior management detailing progress, problems, and achievements.
•    To ensure that the QA department have the correct list of required equipment (fuses ratings, etc) for all USO BTS.
•    To implement quality and safety awareness in the region through ISO 9001, ISO14000 & RCMP, and monitor the performance ensuring compliance.
•    To cooperate with Hardware support team to coordinate Spare Part availability for USO sites and ensure that there is sufficient equipment used for Hardware fault management in maintenance period.
•    To execute the process of replacing equipment/sites that have been vandalized or damaged.
•    To execute USO Preventative Maintenance (PM) tasks regularly via regional teams, and check results with vendor MSD in order to see how preventative actions and troubleshooting are addressed and implemented.
•    To ensure NSS, EPC, CN, GPRS, BSS, RAN and facilities equipment are all operational, and assist to escalate and follow up with respective vendors sections and all associated parties, both within the company and external.
•    To operate asset tracking systems, procedures and processes related to USO sites.
•    To monitor sites in OSS and make sure about functionality of sites when needed.
•    To provide awareness on quality and safety within the region and ensure compliance based on international standards.
