Warehouse Operation Manager

We are seeking an experienced Warehouse Operations Manager to oversee all activities related to our warehouse and distribution center. This role involves building the distribution center from the ground up, managing warehouse staff, and ensuring efficient operations as we expand into new cities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage day-to-day operations of the distribution center, ensuring smooth and efficient processes.
• Monitor and improve key performance indicators (KPIs) such as inventory turnover and order fulfillment time.
• Lead warehouse setup, including sourcing equipment and optimizing layout for safety and efficiency.
• Hire, train, and manage warehouse staff, creating effective shift schedules.
• Develop performance metrics and provide feedback for continuous staff improvement.
• Prepare detailed business plans and cost breakdowns for warehouse operations.
• Collaborate with finance teams to align budgets and ensure cost-effective operations.
• Plan and execute operational rollouts in new cities, ensuring resources and staff are in place.
• Continuously identify and implement improvements in processes and inventory management.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and enforce warehouse safety protocols.
• Travel for recruitment and monitoring operations across various locations.

Qualifications:

• Minimum 3 years of experience in warehouse and distribution operations management.
• Proven experience in staffing, scheduling, and leading warehouse teams.
• Strong understanding of logistics, supply chain management, and warehouse technologies.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a focus on performance improvement.
• Familiarity with inventory management systems and warehouse automation tools.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and work in a fast-paced environment.
• Knowledge of lean management principles and E-commerce logistics strategies.
• Ability to work under pressure with 24/7 availability for urgent issues.
