Key Responsibilities
- Guard Force Management: Oversee guard force activities at all VACs
- Security Recommendations: Recommend countermeasures to enhance the security of people, assets, and processes in collaboration with Operations teams.
- Policy Implementation: Manage and enforce security policies and procedures, applying professional security standards to protect people, property, information, and the company's reputation.
- Compliance Monitoring: Monitor daily activities to ensure adherence to prescribed procedures and implement security best practices.
- Contractor Supervision: Supervise contractor activities to ensure compliance with instructions and proper use of tools and equipment.
- Personnel Inspection: Conduct daily inspections of security personnel to ensure compliance with uniform dress codes and maintain high standards.
- Knowledge Testing: Randomly test the job knowledge of security personnel and liaise with contractors for corrective actions.
- System Familiarization: Ensure all security officers are proficient with electronic security systems and manage access control for new projects.
- Incident Investigation: Lead or assist in investigating crimes, thefts, and misconduct, performing data analysis to identify trends and formulate corrective action plans.
- Reporting: Prepare detailed reports, analyze data, and provide solutions for customer and departmental issues.
- Life Safety Assurance: Ensure the safety of all individuals within the VAC and implement loss prevention measures.
- Service Level Compliance: Ensure all critical service levels and contractual obligations are met, reporting deviations through an incident report framework.
- Training: Conduct awareness training for employees, contractors, and vendors.
- Compliance Logs: Maintain logs of compliance fulfillment for various government clients and collate management information systems (MIS).
- Policy Collaboration: Collaborate in implementing security policies and data protection laws as applicable.
Qualifications & Experience
Education: Graduate or its global equivalent degree.
Experience: 6 to 8 years in a Corporate Security Division.
Skills:
Effective change management and adaptability to security policy integration.
Knowledge of security technologies (CCTV, access control systems, IDS, FAS).
Excellent English communication skills, both oral and written.
Experience working in a multi-agency delivery environment.
Strong influencing, listening, and interpersonal skills.
High levels of integrity and commitment.
