Job Description:

We are seeking a highly motivated Investment Associate to support our investment and fundraising activities. This role involves sourcing, analyzing, and managing investments, as well as assisting in capital-raising efforts. The ideal candidate will have strong financial modeling expertise, industry knowledge, and the ability to engage with investors and project stakeholders.


Key Responsibilities:


Identify and evaluate investment opportunities through market research, industry analysis, and networking.


Conduct financial modeling, valuation, and due diligence for potential projects.


Prepare investment memos, pitch decks, and reports for internal committees and external investors.


Monitor and manage portfolio solar projects, tracking financial and operational performance.


Support fundraising efforts, including preparing investor presentations, engaging with capital providers, and assisting in due diligence processes.


Develop and maintain relationships with project developers, institutional investors, and financing partners.


Track industry trends, market dynamics, and emerging technologies to inform investment strategies.


Qualifications:


Degree in finance, economics, business, renewable energy, or a related field (MBA or CFA preferred).


2-5 years of experience in any of the following fields: investment banking, private equity, venture capital, infrastructure finance, or renewable energy investing.


Strong financial modeling, valuation, and analytical skills (DCF, LBO, project finance models).


Experience in fundraising, investor relations, or capital-raising strategies is a plus.


Knowledge of solar energy markets, financing structures, and investment opportunities.


Excellent communication and presentation skills for investor and deal discussions.


Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
