Electrical Engineer

Responsibilities


PV System Design: Develop detailed designs for residential, commercial, and utility-scale solar systems, including layouts, single-line diagrams, and interconnection schematics. 
Performance Modeling: Utilize software tools such as PVsyst, and AutoCAD to model energy production and optimize system performance. 
Technical Analysis: Conduct feasibility studies, site assessments, and shading analyses to determine the viability of solar installations. 
Compliance and Permitting: Ensure designs meet local, state, and national codes, and support the permitting process. 
Bill of Materials (BOM) Preparation: Create comprehensive BOMs for projects, specifying components such as inverters, modules, and mounting systems. 
Collaboration with Teams: Work closely with project managers, sales teams, and construction teams to ensure seamless project execution. 
Quality Assurance: Review and approve design documents, ensuring accuracy and adherence to industry best practices. 
Innovation and Research: Stay updated on emerging solar technologies, market trends, and regulatory changes to enhance design processes and solutions. 

Required Qualifications


Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering.
Proven experience in designing solar PV systems, with a strong portfolio of completed projects. 
Proficiency in design and modeling tools such as PVsyst, AutoCAD, and/or Revit. 
Knowledge of electrical and structural design principles, and relevant standard. 
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and accuracy. 
Strong communication skills, with the ability to effectively convey technical concepts to diverse stakeholders. 
Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize tasks in a remote work environment. 
Familiarity with the renewable energy policies, interconnection requirements, and utility processes is highly desirable.
Have a full understanding for reading and writing of English language.
