Job Overview
The Senior Network Engineer is responsible for designing, implementing, maintaining, and optimizing the organization’s network infrastructure. This individual ensures that the company’s computer networks operate securely, efficiently, and reliably. Additionally, they oversee the network team, manage network-related projects, and provide technical solutions to enhance infrastructure performance.
Key Responsibilities
- Management & Maintenance of Financial Software: Oversee and support financial applications such as Mabna and Rahkaran.
- Administration of Microsoft Services, including:
- Microsoft 365
- Active Directory
- Exchange
- Group Policy
- DHCP, DNS, File Server, and other related services
- Expertise in Network+ and Mikrotik
- IT Infrastructure Design & Implementation: Plan and deploy IT network and infrastructure solutions.
- Server & Virtualization Architecture: Design and implement server/storage solutions tailored to organizational needs.
- Installation & Maintenance of ASUS Servers: Deploy, configure, and maintain ASUS enterprise servers.
- IT Infrastructure Upgrades & Expansion: Plan and execute IT infrastructure development projects.
- Virtualization & Backup Management:
- Deploy and optimize virtual environments using VMware.
- Manage and monitor Veeam Backup to ensure regular backups and data recovery.
- Network Monitoring & Performance Optimization:
- Set up and manage network monitoring systems.
- Generate periodic reports on system performance and identify areas for improvement.
- Operating System & Service Management:
- Install, configure, and maintain Windows and Linux operating systems.
- Documentation & Reporting:
- Prepare technical documentation, including infrastructure diagrams, configuration guidelines, and improvement strategies.
- Provide periodic reports on IT infrastructure status and performance.
- Infrastructure Optimization:
- Analyze system performance, identify weaknesses, and propose technical improvements to enhance efficiency and reduce costs.
Job Requirements
Education:
- Minimum bachelor's degree in computer engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
Work Experience:
- 5 to 7 years of experience in IT infrastructure management.
- Hands-on experience in ASUS server deployment, setup, and maintenance.
- Expertise in VMware virtualization and Veeam Backup & Replication.

Technical Skills:
- Expert-level proficiency in networking protocols, including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLAN, and VPN.
- Familiarity with enterprise networking equipment from Cisco, Mikrotik, HP, and Fortinet.
- Experience with network operating systems, including Windows Server, Linux, and VMware.
- Knowledge of network security concepts and security solutions such as firewalls, IDS/IPS, and SIEM systems.
- Proficiency in firewall configuration, particularly Sophos Firewall.
- Experience with network monitoring tools, such as Nagios, PRTG, and SolarWinds
Certifications & Additional Qualifications:
- Relevant IT certifications such as VMware, Microsoft, and Mikrotik are a plus.
- Intermediate to advanced English proficiency (for technical documentation and communication).
