Education supervisor

Job Description:
The Education Supervisor plays a key role in maintaining academic quality, supporting teaching departments, and ensuring student conduct aligns with the values and expectations of IR Cambridge School. This position bridges the gap between administration and faculty, ensuring that lessons are delivered effectively and that a positive, respectful learning environment is consistently maintained.
Key Responsibilities:
Support the Head of Education in monitoring teaching quality and curriculum implementation.
Observe classroom activities and provide feedback to teachers to improve instructional practices.
Assist in planning teacher training sessions and professional development workshops.
Coordinate lesson planning, assessments, and report card timelines.
Monitor student behavior and conduct both inside and outside the classroom, ensuring school rules are followed.
Address behavioral issues and implement appropriate interventions or disciplinary measures when needed, in collaboration with the pastoral team.
Promote a safe, inclusive, and respectful school culture where students can thrive.
Communicate with parents regarding academic or behavioral concerns and work collaboratively on student improvement plans.
Maintain records of teacher performance and student academic and behavioral progress.
Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Education or a related field (Master’s preferred).
At least 3 years of teaching experience, with some leadership or coordination responsibilities.
Familiarity with the Cambridge curriculum and assessment methods.
Strong interpersonal and conflict-resolution skills, with a proactive approach to both academic and behavioral supervision.
